The curio shop which is located next to the front desk is open from 08h30 to 12h00 and then from 15h00 to 19h00 Monday to Saturday . Closed on Sundays .

Beverages available from our establishment include a comprehensive range of both local and international branded alcoholic drinks. Zulu Nyala is a fully licensed establishment.
Note: No alcohol may be brought onto or consumed on these Premises unless purchased from the bar or restaurant. No alcohol will be sold to persons under 18 years or age.

Note: Menus are changed daily and any special dietary requirements are catered for by prior request only and may be subject to a surcharge. There are always plentiful options available for vegetarians.
For the safety and comfort of all guests and animals, it is forbidden to have BB guns, firecrackers or hooka pipes on the premises. If any of these items are found, it will be removed.

Enjoy a stroll around the extensive gardens and stop past the crocodile pond and observe these prehistoric looking reptiles in their natural surroundings or just relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
Do I tip and if so, how much?
At Zulu Nyala, our staff work hard to ensure your comfort and enjoyment for every moment of your stay. Tipping is at your discretion, but should you decide to show your appreciation, the most common approach is for guests to add a percentage to their final bill on check-out. This may be paid by credit card.
Tips are shared amongst all the hotel and junior staff, ensuring that those working hard behind the scenes are also included. However, should there be any staff members you wish to tip directly, you are most welcome to do so too.

Our guest relations team is based at reception to assist you with general information.
Should you require your room to be services at a specific time, kindly contact reception to arrange. A same day laundry service is provided. Kindly drop of items at reception before 08h00.

A laundry bag and slip are provided in the cupboard in your room. Kindly complete the laundry slip and sign the document to verify the content in the laundry bag. You may then call the front desk so that arrangements can be made for housekeeping to collect your laundry.
Should you wish to have your laundry returned to you on the same day it will need to be collected by 08h00 by housekeeping.
Note: We cannot be held liable for any damage to delicate or highly valuable items as no dry-cleaning services are available at the hotel.
Post cards along with stamps may be purchased from our Curio Shop. Please drop your post cards at the front desk to be posted for you.
Should you require any of the above services, kindly contact the front desk by dialling 201.
Although there is very low risk of contracting malaria in our area, it is advisable to take precautions especially in the summer months. It is advisable to use a mosquito spray/repellent or cream for outdoors activities. This is available for purchase at the reception if you happen to forget yours.
We unfortunately are not able to administer any form of medication. If medical care is required, we will endeavour to assist in getting the necessary actioned.
Please do not feed the monkeys and kindly keep doors and windows closed at all times.
Zulu Nyala is situated in an ecologically diverse and unique location. To ensure our guests get to experience as much of the beauty around us as possible, we offer a variety of off-site excursions in the surrounding area.
Additional day excursions can be booked at our reception desk.

Kindly note guests are permitted to charge food and drinks to their room provided they sign the food and bar bill after every meal. You will be required to give us your room number so that we are able to charge items to your room. Your bill should be settled on check out.
If you are checking out very early in the morning kindly settle your bill the night before you depart.
To call another room from your room please dial 2 followed by the room number.
Each room has a safe in the cupboard. Please kindly ensure that all your valuables are locked away as we will not be responsible for any loss or theft. Instructions on how to use your safe is in the cupboard next to the safe in your room. The hotel is NOT responsible for money, jewellery or other valuables placed in the safe. Please leave the door open when checking out.
All our rooms are non-smoking. There are designated smoking areas, kindly adhere.
The spa is currently situated in Room 22, and a newly refurbished spa will be operational March 2023, which will be located at the Sunrise swimming pool. Opened daily from 09h00 to 19h00.
We have 2 pools at Heritage Safari Lodge and 1 pool at Game Lodge.
Pool towels are available on request at the front desk, a refundable deposit of R200.00 will be charged.

Complimentary internet/Wi-Fi is available to our guests. Strongest signal is in the common areas (reception, restaurant, and bar). Guests with laptops/smart phones may use wireless internet in the common areas and those without laptops/smartphones, can use the desktops available at the reception area if needed.
